Above are some my favorite looks from Lavin Spring 2011 Collection judging from these photos, I'm just hoping the H&M collection Alber Elbaz, artistic director for Lavin, is designing is as good or at least half as good. A preview of what will be in stores will be out November 2 and the collection will be available November 20, just in time for a new outfit for thanksgiving, perfect.

For the last couple of seasons I've had the privilege to see the beautiful clothes you all see walking down the runway before hand. I have to stand for three hours backstage in the middle of all the commotion trying to stay out of it. You have to rush dressing models like a mad woman, literally you have to forget these girls have feelings and just shove them in their clothes. Even though you don't get paid for any of it and you're not allowed to take pictures of any of the many celebrities and designers you see, it's all worth it in the end. Putting together a Fashion Show is such a rush and believe it or not there is so much team effort that goes in to it. My goal for next season is to actually watch a show as a guest, lets keep our fingers crossed.
Perks of Being a Dresser:
- Touching and seeing how much detail goes into every design
- Interacting with the models, which some like Crystal Renn are so
down to earth and others I won't mention who aren't
- Seeing all the celebrities and designers in their element

It'srefreshing to see H&M step in another direction rather than the designer direction. Don't get me wrong I love it when they pair off with designers not everyone can afford to make exclusive collections for those of us not as fortunate to have access to a $ 5,000 dress. I would love it if they collaborated again with Karl Lagerfeld, I'd give anything for a little black Chanel dress. Back to the point, The Garden Collection is suppose to resemble a romantic and ethereal theme, while consisting of all recycled and organic materials. The theme is a mix of fresh florals and 1970's flower chic. The materials they're using are organic cotton and linen, and recycled polyester. I like the looks they look really chic for being organic, lets hope the prices aren't too chic, then again it is H&M we should be able to handle it.
